計 劃 簡 介 Project Introduction

本機構獲「愛心聖誕大行動」資助，舉行為期一年的「藝述傳耆」非華裔長者支援計劃。計劃於2025年4月展開，招募了非華裔長者和青年，以及來自不同年齡的華裔義工參與。透過一系列義工同行活動、藝術小組及探訪互動，義工及藝術治療師們在非華裔青年協助口語翻譯下，能傾聽及了解非華裔長者的生命故事，與長者們一起將這些寶貴的人生經歷製作成獨特的藝術品，藉此肯定非華裔長者的尊嚴和價值，培養非華裔青年作為翻譯者以傳承文化智慧，並加強華裔義工的參與，促進社區融合。

Our Centre, funded by “Operation Santa Claus (OSC),” has launched a one-year supportive project titled “Narrating Life Stories” for ethnic minority elders. This project commenced in April 2025, bringing together ethnic minority elders, youths, and Chinese volunteers of various ages. Through a series of volunteer companion activities, art groups and interactive home visits, volunteers and art therapists, with the assistance of ethnic minority youths serving as language interpreters, listened to and understood the life stories of ethnic minority elders. Together, they transformed these invaluable life experiences into unique artworks, thereby affirming the dignity and worth of ethnic minority elders. This project also nurtured ethnic minority youths as cultural translators, enhanced the involvement of Chinese volunteers, and promoted community integration.
